Introducing the next generation of Claude

The Claude 3 model family has been released, consisting of three models with increasing levels of intelligence: Haiku, Sonnet, and Opus. Opus is the most intelligent model, with a near-human level of comprehension and fluency. All three models outperform their predecessors in analysis, forecasting, content creation, and conversing in non-English languages. The models have sophisticated vision capabilities and can process various visual formats. They make fewer unnecessary refusals than previous models and have robust recall capabilities. The models have been developed with safety, transparency, neutrality, and privacy. The Claude 3 model family is at AI Safety Level 2 (ASL-2) per Anthropics Responsible AI design principles.
