Large Language Models (LLMs) use deep learning techniques to generate text similar to human writing and are becoming increasingly common in the legal industry. Lawyers can use LLMs to streamline the document review process and assist with legal research, but accuracy and fairness must be closely monitored. LLMs are not replacing human lawyers but will change their role in the coming years. Lawyers need to adapt to new technologies and use the power of LLMs to enhance efficiency while being mindful of their limitations.
