Over four weeks in Autumn 2023, legal professionals were asked to rate the quality, accuracy, and reliability of AI-generated legal information and advice generated by different publicly available AI models. The survey results highlighted clear trends and patterns and identified areas that require further investigation. The study aims to contribute to the ongoing discussion on the role of AI in the legal profession by providing a comprehensive overview of the current state of AI-generated legal advice and information.
