Legaltech companies leverage generative AI in new tools

LawCPD and LexisNexis have introduced new tools to the Australian market that use generative AI technology. LawCPD’s tool leverages AI to provide personalized feedback and guidance to lawyers, transforming legal training. Meanwhile, LexisNexis has launched Lexis+ AI, which combines generative AI with their legal library, and is expected to save Australian lawyers 11 hours per week in research, drafting, client communication, and case summarization. Lexis+ AI offers features such as conversational search, enhanced summarization, generative document drafting, and document upload capabilities, all supported by encryption and privacy technology. Clayton Utz and Holding Redlich have provided support for the Australian commercial preview of Lexis+ AI.
