How One Legal Aid Program Is Creating A Culture Of Innovation To Enhance Access to Justice

Legal Aid of North Carolina has introduced an Innovation Lab to identify and implement new solutions to bridge the justice gap, developed by CEO Ashley Campbell and attorney Scheree Gilchrist and Jeffrey M. Kelly, a partner at Nelson Mullins. The lab’s advisory board chair, Kelly, Campbell, and Gilchrist, were part of a panel on creating a culture of innovation in legal services at the Legal Services Corporation’s Innovations in Technology Conference in Charlotte, N.C. They discussed the Innovation Lab’s work and shared their thoughts on creating a culture of innovation in legal services.
