Artificial Intelligence and Privacy

This article discusses the relationship between privacy and artificial intelligence (AI). It highlights the current privacy issues associated with AI and suggests potential directions for legal development in this area. The article argues that privacy laws could effectively address the privacy issues arising from AI if they are adequately conceptualised and constituted. The privacy issues related to AI are often linked to its inputs and outputs, and they exacerbate existing problems in complex and unique ways, challenging existing regulatory frameworks. Therefore, legal approaches must evolve to address the privacy issues that AI creates.
