The artificial intelligence industry is growing fast, and one of the companies at the forefront, Anthropic, is confident that its crucial technology will continue to expand in size and capability in the coming years. The CEO and co-founder, Dario Amodei, believes that the remarkable increase in scale that they have used to train neural networks over the last decade will pale in comparison to what they will see in the next 2 to 4 years. Some researchers, however, have suggested that there may be some fundamental limits to how large these models can get. Amodei, on the other hand, is sceptical of such claims and believes that these models will continue to grow and improve shortly. At least for the next three or four years, we can expect to see continued advancements in AI technology.
