AI Companies Desperately Hiring Authors and Poets to Fix Their Crappy Writing

Some of Silicon Valley’s largest AI companies are hiring writers and poets with humanities degrees to improve the quality of AI-generated output. They are looking for writers who specialize in languages other than English to enhance the abilities of their AI models. The goal is to set themselves apart from competitors who may only offer systems capable of telling repetitive jokes. However, paying writers to feed AI models with prose may not enhance the creative aspects of these algorithms. The move may also be a way to secure full rights to creative writing instead of exposing themselves to potential copyright infringement lawsuits.
