A Survey of Large Language Models

This survey provides an up-to-date review of the literature on LLMs, by introducing the background, key findings, mainstream techniques and recent advances of LLMs with a focus on pre-training, adaptation tuning, utilization, and capacity evaluation.

Additionally the survey summarises the available resources for developing LLMs and discusses future directions.
