Generative AI is tremendously exciting for the legal profession, because the best use of this newly emerging automation stack can free up real time that lawyers use on heavily time-consuming work with lower payoff. It releases that time to let us do more creative, tailored, and innovative work that will allow lawyers to ramp their expertise and craft unique value both individually and as a profession.
Lawyers are not becoming obsolete or getting replaced; they are being given the opportunity and the time to be more creative, and with that, be so much better at the profession.
