Large language models are trained on a large dataset to predict the next word and are not necessarily tailored to the end user. Due partly to this training large language models can generate false information, propagate social stereotypes, and produce toxic language.
Large language models can be trained for specific uses assisting legal teams with research, creating documents and making better-informed decisions. However navigating this evolving landscape requires awareness of the advancements, risks, and limitations of large language models.
