Mitchell Kossoris, co-founder of Deposely, observed a lack of free software tools in the legal tech sector compared to the tech industry. To address this, Deposely launched Deposely Essentials, an initiative providing legal professionals with a suite of AI tools for depositions at no cost. The first tool is the AI Narrative Summary Generator, which creates concise summaries of deposition transcripts. Future tools will include features for transcript summarisation, client debriefing, outline reviews, and contradiction detection, all while ensuring data security and user control. Kossoris aims to enhance access to justice (A2J) by reducing time and cost barriers for attorneys, especially those in small firms or underserved communities. The program is designed to be a permanent offering rather than a limited-time trial.
