Coheso Launches Universal CLM Connector to Supercharge Legal Workflow Integration

Legal tech startup Coheso has launched its Universal CLM Connector, a tool designed to create a seamless, two-way integration between contract lifecycle management (CLM) platforms and Coheso’s AI-powered legal front door and work management system.

The new connector offers granular data mapping, enabling legal teams to initiate contract-related workflows directly from Coheso and automatically populate contract templates. At the same time, it can pull structured data from CLM tools back into Coheso’s dashboard, giving in-house legal teams a centralised view of all legal requests, regardless of how they originate.

According to CEO and co-founder Ned Gannon, this integration directly responds to client demand:

“Legal teams are under pressure to move faster, collaborate more deeply with the business, and manage growing complexity. The CLM connector helps close critical gaps between intake, triage, and contract generation.”

The announcement follows a strategic investment from Tola Capital, known for backing enterprise software innovators. They join existing investors, including Crew Capital, Character, FirsthandVC, and Carnegie Mellon University, to support Coheso’s continued growth.

In a recent interview, Gannon shared that demand for Coheso is strong, with rapid iteration driven by close client engagement. Legal departments, he notes, are increasingly prioritising operational efficiency and smarter tech adoption—not just deploying AI for its own sake but strategically embedding it to remove friction and deliver results.

Coheso’s appeal lies in its flexibility. Legal teams use it as a “single pane of glass” for managing everything from simple legal questions to complex projects. The new CLM connector further streamlines contract-heavy workflows, helping teams accelerate business outcomes without sacrificing control.

Coheso plans to expand agentic AI features, extend its footprint across the US and EMEA, and grow its engineering and client success teams.

“We’re fortunate to be building at such a transformative time,” Gannon said. “The momentum in legal tech is real—and Coheso is right in the middle of it.”
