The Dickson Poon School of Law has unveiled a major AI Literacy Programme that will give every law student and staff member free access to leading legal AI platforms — Luminance, Legora, Harvey and Lucio AI — supported by a tailored 12-week online course and weekly workshops with practitioners.
Spearheaded by Professor Dan Hunter, Executive Dean and a globally recognised expert in AI and law, the initiative positions King’s as a global leader in modern legal education, ensuring its community is prepared to work confidently with the technologies reshaping legal practice.
“AI is now essential for tomorrow’s lawyers,” Professor Hunter said. “By offering universal access and structured training, we’re equipping King’s graduates to lead the profession into its AI-enabled future.”
Industry partners welcomed the collaboration, highlighting opportunities for student workshops, curriculum integration, hands-on clinical experience and responsible use of AI in real legal work.
The programme officially launches in January 2026
